We aim to respond to each email on the same day. However, due to a high number of requests we might not be able to keep to this promise. If you believe that you require urgent assistance, please contact NHS 111.
Covid-19 update
The first level of support for patients with urgent dental needs is triage by the practice. We have established a remote urgent care service, providing e-mail & telephone triage for patients with urgent needs during usual working hours, and whenever possible treating with AAA: • Advice • Analgesia • Antimicrobial means where appropriate.
London already has an out of hours and unscheduled care triage service available via NHS 111, however, this will be a second layer of triage and service will be extended to a 24/7 service from the 1st April. This is an additional daytime service from 8am-5pm along with the usual out of hours and overnight service.
We will advise any patient that falls in the above category that they will be referred to the Dental Triage Service via 111. Once the Dental Triage Service has assessed the patient, if they do need an onward referral this will be made to one of the Urgent Dental Care Hubs . Please note that all patients will then once again be assessed by the clinician before they are booked in.
